What Do Men Want From Games, Tech, and Mobile?

AskMen's annual Great Male Survey says a lot about men's interest in the sort of games, hardware, and apps tech users live for.

Of surveyed AskMen users, significantly more said they'd purchase a PlayStation 4 vs. Xbox One. 39% of respondents said yes to PS4, compared to 12% who expressed interest in buying Xbox One. 3% said they'd buy both, while the majority -- 46% -- said they'd spend money on neither. Following E3 2013, IGN asked you which console you were more interested in. This is how you responded:

Separate from games, AskMen surveyed users about their mobile devices and technology wants.

If money were no object, 42% of surveyed AskMen users stated they'd throw down for a high-end television. A tricked-out Macbook Pro also placed highly, coming in second with 33% of users, who were less interested in a sexier cell phone or an upgraded tablet.

Predictably, cheaper mobile apps attract more people. 31% of users said they spend of $5 or less on apps. Just 9% allow themselves fewer than $10 per month to spend on apps, and even fewer (2%) will spend $20 or less. The majority of users, however -- a whopping 58% -- said they do not buy apps at all.
