Kellan Lutz, aka Emmett Cullen in Twilight, is in early talks to join the ranks of The Expendables 3. Read on for minor plot spoilers....
According to The Wrap, the action stars of yesteryear will share the spotlight with a "younger group of tech-savvy action heroes" in the third iteration of the macho franchise, which will likely include Lutz. The two generations will initially clash, but will eventually put aside their differences to save the day. Naturally.
If negotiations are successful, Lutz will join new cast members Milla Jovovich, Wesley Snipes and Jackie Chan alongside regulars Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Jason Statham and Jet Li. Rumoured cast members include Mel Gibson, Nicholas Cage and Steven Segal.
The Expendables 3 is due to hit US theaters August 15, 2014.
